Medical Provident Fund – Notice of Election of Trustees / Ciaran O’Callaghan
Notice is hereby given that elections are about to be held for the purpose of electing four members of the Fund as “Elected Trustees” in accordance with Rule 7.
Details on nomination papers & closing dates for acceptance of completed nomination papers etc are specified below. Please note that the Proposer and Seconder of a candidate must be members of Medical Provident Fund
Nomination papers may be obtained from the Fund Manager, ESB Medical Provident Fund, Desk No. 2.5.78, ESB Gateway, East Wall Road, Dublin 3 (voting papers shall issue not later than Friday, 27 July 2018).
Completed nomination papers must be tendered to the Fund Manager, ESB Medical Provident Fund, Desk No. 2.5.78, ESB Gateway, East Wall Road, Dublin 3, so as to arrive not later than 3pm on Friday, 6 July 2018. The poll shall close on Friday, 31 August 2018.

Traineeship Programme for People with disabilities / Niall O’Hanlon
The closing date for this year’s Traineeship Programme for People with disabilities is cob tomorrow, 6th July 2018.
The Traineeship Programme provides 10 paid employment opportunities annually. Trainees are offered contracts for a period of 6 to 9 months.
The Traineeship Programme gives successful candidates, training and experience of working in a modern business environment. It provides the opportunity for personal and professional development and will be of benefit in applying for future employment opportunities.
All of this year’s Traineeship Programme placement opportunities are advertised on www.ahead.ie. Each of the placement opportunities has its own job specification and should be viewed prior to submitting a cv. 1. All Applicants must register with and submit their CV to AHEAD 2. Applicants have the option to apply for a maximum of two vacancies 3. Interviews are held in ESB during the month of August
4. Successful Candidates start their Traineeships in October

Margaret Watters RIP (Mother of Eamonn Watters Ex Const. Supr. Killybegs) / Seamus Reilly, EAP Sligo
The death has occurred of Margaret Josephine Watters known as (Maggie Josie) Monargan and formerly Mentinadea, Ardara (Mother of Eamonn Watters, Ex Const. Supr. Killybegs) Funeral arrangements as follows;
Her remains will be reposing at Shovlins funeral home Sandfield Ardara this evening Friday from 5-8p.m followed by private removal to her residence. Reposing at her residence on Saturday from 2-6p.m.
House private to family and friends at all other times. Funeral from there on Sunday morning at 10.30am to The Church Of The Holy Family Ardara for 11a.m reqrium Mass with burial afterwards in the adjoining graveyard.
Our Thoughts & Prayers are with Eamonn & his family at this sad time. May She Rest in Peace.

Retirement of Eamonn Maher N.T. ESB Networks, Nenagh/Roscrea planner group. / DJ Doheny After 38 years of dedicated service, Eamonn will be retiring on Monday 9th July
During a long and distinguished career in ESB Networks, Eamonn worked in many different roles and locations including the construction of the 400kv HT line between Moneypoint and Endfield, MV and LV construction in the Ballinasloe area and finally working in Birr which is now part of the Nenagh/Roscrea planner group on various roles.
Eamonn’s professionalism, dedication and especially his stern approach to certain situations will be greatly missed by those who have worked with him especially his colleges in Nenagh and Roscrea who worked closely with him in recent years.
To mark his departure, Eamonn would like to invite all his friend and colleagues past and present to join him on Friday 20th July at 8pm at Kelly’s pub, Green street, Birr.

Retirement of Liam Knox, Design, Networks, Dublin North /
After over 38 years of dedicated service to ESB, Liam will be retiring on 20th July next.
During his long career in ESB, Liam has worked on line design both internationally and nationally but predominantly in the Dublin regions. In recent years he has been heavily involved in the development and roll-out of the Design Handbook as part of the OneSource Project.
To mark his departure, Liam would like to invite his friends and colleagues, past and present, to join him upstairs in Mulvany’s Fingal House, Dunboyne on Friday 20th July at 8.00pm.
