People Leaving
Thank you from Imelda O’Toole /
Hi all.
Just to say a “Huge Thank You “ for all the fuss made for me on my recent retirement in May. Thank you all so much for the flowers, e.mails, cards, prezzies and my very generous cash collection.
I enjoyed my retirement party in Foley’s and I really appreciate all the people who took the time to attend it and make my night so special.
I have enjoyed my time working in ESB Head Office these last 23 years and my previous 10 years in Fleet Street in the 70/80’s. I have made many friends down through the years and I hope to continue this friendship and contact with you all. I don’t know where the time has gone since I was a “ Shy “ 18 year old starting out my career in Fleet Street. I thought back then that anyone over the age of 60 must be really ancient !!! Now I am that person, but I don’t feel ancient. I just feel like I’m on a new journey, starting a new and exciting chapter of my life, and rarin to go !!! Life is for Living !!!
So cheerio for now. Be nice to each other and best wishes to all for a happy career in ESB.
Thanks again for everything.
Imelda
